Dive With Reef Sharks — No Experience Required

Learn to Dive — No Experience Needed
No prior diving experience required — our team guides you every step of the way.
On arrival, you’ll begin with a relaxed introductory scuba session in the resort pool, guided by professional instructors. You’ll quickly learn the essential skills needed to feel comfortable underwater in a safe, controlled environment.
This simple, step-by-step introduction is designed to build your confidence and comfort before heading out for your open-water reef shark dive later in the day.

Before lunch, your marine biologist host leads an engaging shark ecology session, offering insight into shark behaviour, reef ecosystems and the vital role sharks play in maintaining ocean balance.
You'll gain an insight into:
✔️ How sharks behave in their natural environment
✔️ The relationships that shape reef ecosystems
✔️ The important role sharks play in ocean health
You’ll also be introduced to ourShark Ecology programme, with certification issued later in the day — recognising your participation in a science-led conservation experience.
Guided by Marine Biologists — A Deeper Experience

Designed for first-time divers.
Under the guidance of experienced dive professionals, you’ll descend into shallow reef habitat where Blacktip and Whitetip Reef Sharks are commonly seen. Calm and naturally curious, these sharks move effortlessly through the reef, creating a safe and truly immersive first dive experience.
This is a real shark encounter — not an aquarium, not a simulationto scuba — it’s a meaningful encounter with marine life in a carefully managed environment. Following your dive, you’ll receive your SSI Shark Ecology Certification, recognising your participation in a conservation-led experience.
Your First Shark Dive — Come Face-to-Face With Reef Sharks

After your dive, enjoy time at leisure on Kuata Island — snorkel vibrant coral gardens straight from the beach, relax on the sand, or simply take in the natural beauty of the Yasawa Islands.
In the afternoon, return by boat to meet your ferry for the journey back to Port Denarau — arriving early evening after a full day of adventure, connection and discovery.
This is more than a day trip — it’s a fully immersive marine experience combining exploration, education and conservation in one unforgettable day -— and a story you’ll talk about long after you leave Fiji
